Yay, we made it to Saumur !

Hello everyone and welcome to this blog's first post !

We arrived safely in Saumur at 3:45pm (French time!) and then each student went with their host families.
I am almost positive that at 10pm, the time I'm writing this post, most of them must already be fast asleep, it was indeed an exhausting trip.
During the trip from Indy to Saumur, we did not encounter any major problem, or even any at all. The lines at both airports were quick, the students behaved perfectly (all credits to your amazing parenting skills), the direct flight was direct (I guess Delta also did a good job about this), and after a stormy past week in Saumur, we were welcomed by a big blue sky and temperatures up to 79°F.
So, I would say we are definitely off to a good start *knocks on wood*
Tomorrow, we are first starting the day with quite the excitement : the students are going to have a cute little test in French at 9am. This test is aimed for us instructors to be able to provide the most personalized learning experience to your kids.
Then, after that very fun first activity of the day, we will be heading downtown Saumur to discover more about this wonderful town.

Here are the few pictures from our trip from Indy to Saumur :
They are wearing matching tee-shirts, what a coincidence !
I think they have their passports
Patiently waiting for boarding and "destroying friendship" (they were playing Uno) all at the same time.
They may or may not have fallen asleep on the coach to Saumur

First real French meal in France : Salade - Steak haché & Frites - Brownie et Crème Anglaise

And here is the Team Saumur in Saumur !
Thanks, and stay updated !
