The first week has come to an end and the students are now used to the country and the routine.
It is amazing how much they changed in just one week. They don't hesitate to speak French anymore, some of them even make jokes or tease their friends (even the instructors sometimes) all in French! This is just great to see how comfortable they got in such a short time !
On Wednesday afternoon, the students played sports such as "le pouic pouic" or "le virus" which are French games that can involve a lot of players !
After that, we celebrated Elissa's birthday. Everybody was happy to rest and enjoy some snacks and candy after playing sports.
On Thursday, the students practiced their singing and acting skills to prepare for their visit to the retirement home next week ( as part of the community engagement). They are taking it very seriously but they are also having a lot of fun !
This weekend, the students are with their host families.
