This week the sun has finally granted us with its presence! Yaaay ! This is amazing for we are going to visit the Loire's Chateaux on Friday.
On Monday, the students presented their individual "coat of arms" they started last week. Indeed, as future knights they must have their own coat of arms ! They made it according to their own personality, identity, and interests.
On Tuesday, the students played sports such as "La balle aux prisonniers" and "le béret". La balle aux prisonniers is very similar to dodgeball.
Today we were invited to Mayor's office and met him in person. We also had a mock City council with the Mayor on a predetermined topic. The students were able to prepare the debate beforehand. The topic for this City council was about a specifically polemical matter currently discussed by the actual Council.
The students were at first intimidated (because they were sitting where the real Council sits) but then they felt comfortable enough to take part in the debate. We ended the Council with Ali and Gabby giving a speech thanking the Mayor for hosting us today.
We ended our visit with a drink and a picture with the Mayor.
