We are now starting the first full week of the program. The students are getting used to this new town, and their host family; it's one day at a time! Last Friday, in the afternoon, we went for a walk in downtown Saumur to see some important places such as the grocery store, the post office, the Cavalry School, the Saint Pierre church and of course the Chateau.
This past week-end the students were with their respective host families.
Yesterday was the first day of class and the students came in with a big smile on their faces to compensate for the heavy rain in the morning.
We also celebrated Sara's birthday which happened to get messier than expected with the non-alcoholic champagne spilling all over the table followed by students' laughter.
Today we started talking about the farewell show and the program magazine, and the students came up with tons of great ideas, they are totally thrilled, how exciting !
Anyways, so far, so good! We will keep you updated later this week !
